How to Resubmit an EPP code for a domain transfer

If you have started a domain transfer but received a 'Please Resubmit EPP Code' request, you will first need to ensure your domain name is not locked and then determine the correct domain transfer code (EPP code) for your domain.

If your domain ends in '.au' (e.g. yourdomain.com.au, yourdomain.org.au), you are able to have an EPP code recovery link sent out to your domain's Registrant Contact Email. To request this, use this link

For other domains, you will have to get the EPP code from your current domain provider.

Step 1 - Log into your Client Area.

Step 2 - Select Active Domains from the dashboard, or navigate to Domains then My Domains in the left hand menu.

Step 3 - Select the Options icon next to the domain you're transferring, then select Manage Domain.

Step 4 - Click on the link in the banner, or select Resubmit EPP Code under the Actions column.

Step 5 - Re-enter the EPP code and select Submit.

Step 6 - Once you have submitted the new EPP code, a Success icon should appear indicating the EPP code was accepted.
If the code was not accepted, you will get an error message. The below error indicates that the provided EPP code was incorrect. In this case we'd recommend confirming the EPP code with your current domain hosts, then trying again. If you receive a different error, feel free to reach out to our support team.

Troubleshooting

Disable Registrar Lock:
When transferring a domain, please ensure that Registrar Lock is disabled. Our guide on this process can be found here. In some cases, you may get a message reporting the EPP code is incorrect when the Registrar Lock is enabled.

If you are transferring a '.au' domain:
Once the EPP code is accepted, an email from our domain name registration distributor "TPP Wholesale" will be sent to the Registrant email address attached to this domain name. This email contains a confirmation link that must be clicked to proceed with the transfer request (the domain name transfer will not be initiated until confirmed within this email). After this has been actioned, please allow 3 days for the transfer to complete.

For all other domains:
Once the EPP code is accepted, please allow up to 7 days for the domain transfer to complete.
